Halos floated above an unnamed island out in the southern continent, his hands outstretched above him as if he was beseeching the sky itself for aid. Here the Titan born struggled to force the sky to his will, his magical energies seeping from his hands as the sky refused to bend to giant's will. Despite his failure to call lighting and rain clouds slowly filled the sky after hours of struggle, the few sparks he was able to coax from the clouds illuminated the night sky.
"Wind, lighting, thunder and even sky is my domain! Hear my command and rage!" the massive figure commanded as he his hands again lit up brightly as he filled the sky with even more of his magical energies. For several moments he will the storms to appear only to fail yet again, his energy simply vanished as the sky hungerly swallowed his power. With a frown he studied the night sky, a nearly endless abyss of sky and clouds that could even devour his power. It was much like pouring a cup of water in the ocean and expecting to see a difference in the size of the sea. Unable to keep his composure any longer Halos let out a loud bellow of rage, the giants howl could be heard for miles as the nearby sky and water shudder form the might of his cry.
Despite his anger Halos forced himself to calm down and focus, his mind pushing his rage to the side for now till there was a time to let it out. Taking deep and slowly breathes he finally started to relax as he thought about his problem. It was not that his powers had no effect, it simply was that he did not have enough power to force the massive sky to bend to his will. Unlike below there was much more of it, requiring him to use much more power than ever before. He also noted the surface world did not seem to be saturated in magic like the shell, his egg and for father creating a magical rich land for his spawn to grow in.
Thinking on it further he understood why he had lost, his narrow view of the world hiding just how weak he really was. He had thought himself the pinnacle of power, a hubris he realized that had also killed his sire. He would not make the same mistake as him, he would wait and grow his power till no mortal or God could threaten him. For now, he simply needed to keep growing his power hidden from all the those that might try and stop him.

Though the Titan's power had indeed been unable to make it rain, the skies over a nearby island began to darken. Not from rain, not from clouds blocking the sun, but the very air about the island began to grow darker. The sound of a shovel could be heard as a criminal dug a grave for some unfortunate victim they had murdered. The man on a remote island with a flying truck could be seen digging, his arms pushing into the dirt to remove more and more. The air growing heavy made the man wipe his brow before looking into the sky. He couldn't help but raise a brow as he looked directly at the sun only for the very luster of the solar gem to grow dimmer right before his eyes. The whole island surrounded in a field of darkness, and the air above the man began to balloon outwards like a sagging ceiling from water. The bulge beginning to sweat black drops of liquid as dense as tar, the black substance dropping onto the mans car. At first he didn't notice but as the liquid peppered the car, the man noticed from the corner of his eye that his car was RUSTING?! Quickly the man ran over to his truck before trying to use the shovel to scrape it off. The only thing that managed to do was cause his shovel to twist up before exploding into wooden shrapnel. The man's face getting peppered by wooden debris and opening cuts along his face. As he screamed his pain, holding a hand to his face while he tried to pick the wood from his sore face. It wasn't till the bulge ruptured and a large amount of black substance began to fall onto the ground where it splashed into the grave to create a small black pool. The broken hole in reality hanging open like a loosely torn open wound. Strings of reality hung down a while longer only to slowly begin sealing itself back up. The wound soon disappearing completely and leaving nothing in its wake. The bubbling liquid in the grave looking like some awful concoction a witch would brew up in a fantasy. Black tar with bubbles could be seen, the air was frigid around the pool. The ground seeming to become infected as black veins ran through the soil and strangled the grass in its black embrace. As the criminal picked himself up and backed away, a small object could be seen rising from the pool. Higher, higher and higher it rose slowly till finally two pairs of yellow eyes peered out from the black. The eyes blinked a few times only to begin rising up. The creature was humanoid, standing as black tar dripped from its body in slow thick drops. The demon slowly raised a hand to wipe his face away, gently caressing his own face and enjoying the sensation of being in creation once more. The black substance continuing to expand outwards before finally flowing up his legs and soon forming a full outfit. The demon's green hair visible as the black substance soaked into his very flesh. His yellow eyes blinked a few times and was then companied by a charming smile. The whole time the criminal is watching in terror and pain, his gasps of pain audible as he tried to run away. The demon looking up just in time to see him crest the hill. The demon was quickly on him, grabbing him by the back of the head and chuckling a cold laugh, one as frozen and malicious as the emptiness of space to living things. His hand holding him squeezing hard enough the skull could be heard creaking. "Several eons in the black of nothingness and I return expecting to find a wonderful land of strong capable mortals... Only to find the shinjin have cut your tendons too have they? Pathetic."With that the man with his head in his hand began to scream in agony as the back of his skull began to ignite in black flames. The primordial magic of Kamae eating away at the very fabric of his existence while Kamae shoved him forward. The man rolling down the hill in black flames into traffic where the body caused several cars to explode, the fire dimmed due to the darkness present. But as quickly as the darkness had rose up, it quickly began to disappear. The sun shining down upon Kamae Ghoun, the beautifully smooth face compared to his old appearance befitting his new chance at life. While he wasn't sure what sort of realm this was, he could already sense a few key differences. First... he didn't sense anything. That was because he realized this new body was liken to an infant. Slowly touching his own face, the demon chuckled as he felt his flesh. It seemed that he was a fresh faced baby in a new gem of creation... A brand new person with all the knowledge he had ever acquired but a new bring... My oh my he had gotten extremely lucky. If he had to guess he probably hit the jackpot of one out of a couple trillion. Blinking, the demon could see all the lands and greens. He hadn't had his eye sight in a long time... he disliked this vision. He couldn't see as good and it was strange. Slowly reaching up the man ran a hand over his own eye, gently touching the pupil without so much as blinking. The man running fingers over it as he traced magic into his very flesh. After a moment he would sigh before looking out once more. With a smile he could see again, the black and white vision a familiar view. Stretching as people screamed in agony below him, the demon felt like he had a wonderful adventure a head of him. Slowly walking down the hill towards the people seeking aid, the demon chukcled as the first human came running up to him to see if he needed help. The man soon found himself surrounded in a box of light, the shield twisting this way and that like some digital construct. After a moment of the man gawking at it, the box collapsed causing the walls to turn crimson after a moment. That caused the nearest woman to scream her fear as the Demon waved his hand lazily. The people at the scene of the accident would all freeze up as if something had struck them in their heads. The shield beside Kamae suddenly disappearing as the people all began to scream in agony only to fall to the ground as black tar like substance began to pour from their eyes, mouth, nose and ears. Their bodies seizing up only to go limp on the ground, death claiming them as Kamae chuckled his amusement. Just as soft as in his home universe of... wait... Where did he hail from? Kamae's eyes narrowed a moment before he simply shrugged his shoulders. A problem to deal with later, for now... he was free.

Halos was nearly done for the training for the night, his chest heaving form the failed attempt to conjure up a storm. For now, the giant figured it was time to retire back to shell before daylight came and someone spotted him. Internally he seethed as the thought of him staying hidden instead of ruling it all however even his sire had been forced to hide while he created his children. He would take his time till he was ready and only then would he act. Turning back towards his home when he noticed something in the back of his mind, a feeling of unease as something wrong filled the air. Holding still he looked around form above, his each searching the nearby islands for the source but found nothing that would proc such feeling. For several minutes he would search as the feeling mounted, the animals echoing the feeling as the chatter of the night went silent as the waited for feeling to peak and just when he was prepared to quit searching, he saw it.
Only a near silent gasp left the giants mouth as the scene unfolded in the distance. Form high up he could not take his eyes of the twisted darkness that covered a nearby island, the strange black twisting at the back of his mind as it filled him with dread and yet he could not take his eyes off of the scene. Slowly he drifted towards the island as his blood burned drawing him closer and closer in a manner that resembled like a moth to the flame. The near trance only ending when he was over the island, his eyes glued to the island as they searched for anything that might give a hint at was happening.
Inside he wondered if perhaps coming here was a mistake as he kept searching, his mind trying to think of reasons to call of the search and retreat back to the shell. It was only when he noticed the strange light in the distance that the thoughts stopped, his eyes glued on the light in the distance. Without wasting any time, he floated closer to the source as he stayed high in the sky, intent at the moment to simply watch and observe the strange events. He arrived just in time to watch the man turn into a mass of gore and giblets in front of the strange figure. Even a hundred feet in the air he could tell the strange man was the source of his unease or at the very least connected to the strange darkness that had covered the island mere moments before.
It was not until the others fell down dripping a black tar like substance that he knew that his assumptions were correct, as the man remained calm despite the carnage around him. Now he had to figure out just who the man was and why was he here? Did the gods already discover him? He doubted it, he had very little outside the shell but get into a fight or two with the uplanders. No this was something different and potentially powerful. He needed to figure out what and see if it was a threat to his conquest, or a useful tool.
Already mentally exhausted by the failures of the day and unable to resist his curiosity any long, he moved towards the ground impulsively before speaking.
"And who might you be? A pet of the gods sent to seek me out or perhaps something else? He questioned as his feet hit the ground a few meters behind the demon. Titan born was already channeling his power though his arms and body as he watched for any sign of danger form the man in front of him as arcs of electricity arced across his chest waiting to be released at any sign of danger.

Kamae was quite pleased with his work and the enjoyment of slaying mortals for the first time in eons. He chuckling while he prepared to leave, the demon's laugh stopped half way when a voice rang out. One that he didn't recognize and one that made him turn to look from the corner of his eye with interest. The man was massive in height and width, a giant by all accounts. The demon's eyes narrowed as he thought the man's words over carefully.
He immediately realized the man was not worried about the civilians first but instead of why his presence was here. This gave the demon time to turn full on to face the giant who stood meters away but to the massive titan of a man, it was probably only a few feet for him. Kamae kept his smile as always before gesturing towards the destruction around him. A clear indication he worked for no shinjin or higher being who protects.
"I am known as Kamae Ghoun, a... visitor to your realm."
Kamae stated cautiously, as he doubted many would believe he was from a completely different universe. Placing his hands in his pockets, the demon felt sooooo good to be in a physical realm once more. He would gently tap his foot against the ground, the island rumbling with each foot step. The grass beneath his feet crushed to the point of no recovery.
"I am not a shinjin puppet... Nor would I ever be. I'd rather you never include me in the league with the likes of heaven and their disgusting protectors."
Kamae would continue to play in the grass with his foot while he talked, clearly enjoying the grass. He hadn't seen it in so long he had forgotten what the color green looked like, how the grass smelled, how the ocean smelt. He had forgotten all of it and in that moment the demon felt himself shiver in joy. Wrapping himself up in his own arms, the demon enjoyed the sensation of physical touch. Something he didn't think he would ever feel again.
"Ahhh you little creations and your cancerous little bubble of creation! Such a vile place! AHHH I love it. I can't wait to begin corrupting it all."
Kamae stated as he unfolded his arms from around himself and made a grand show with his magic, clearly happy to be here. Though as the magic of his arced through the sky and the black tar like substance landed upon the land, it began to drain the life from the very plant life and any bird unfortunate enough to be struck by a stray drop of his magic. The grass withering and dying before crumbling away as dead brown shells of their former selves. Birds began to bubble up, flesh bulging and feathers flying from their body before insects of all kinds began to crawl from the creatures innards. Centipedes, roaches, flies and other creatures of pestilence bursting from its flesh before scattering about.
The magic show quickly ended and the bodies about Kamae began to shift then mutate into forms of horror. Some creatures gained insect like features with some reptile like aspects to their features. Their mouths unhinged as they gurgled their pain and agony to be revived. A soulless husk sure but clearly the brain could process pain. While the magics was fragile for now, not able to be of much use beyond reviving a horrific zombie, the demon simply looked it over as he tried to understand why his magic effected people here so differently.
"Fascinating... This realm reacts fundamentally different to my magic than to the previous... Marvelous."
The demon stated before snapping his fingers, the husks rising to attention before rushing off into the night. A moment later the sound of screeching tired, broken glass and then a crash followed by screams. Kamae kept his gaze on his guest the whole time.
"You don't seem like anything I've seen before... I bet I'd find YOU fascinating."
Kamae didn't move at all, waiting for his new guest to identify if what they saw was of to much horror, or if they were going to be heroes. He had not met a single person in the previous realm who could stomach his methods of exploring things. He doubted this Gem would be any different.

Halos's face was locked into a stern expression as he watched the man, his eyes never leaving him as he watched him turn slowly to face him and was surprised to see for the most part, he looked like any other mortal he had seen above ground. If it was not for the eyes and his smile despite everything around him one might even think he was a normal mortal like any of the others around here. Not that the smile was wrong, however with the scene around him it was a clear indication that there might be something very wrong with the figure in front of him.
It was not until Kamae spoke of the Shinjin that he brought his attention back to what the man was saying, his ears taking in everything as he thought it over. It was clear that whoever this Kamae was that he had no love for the gods, the distaste in his voice making it very clear on that fact. Perhaps this man might be helpful to him after all, despite all the...chaos he was causing with his strange magic.
It what was perhaps the first time since he had laid eyes on Kamae that his eyes drifted to what the man was doing, his scowl deepening as he observed the scene unfolding in front of him. It was after a moment that a few words escaped his mouth, the first thought coming to his mind escaping it before he could reel it in as he watched the bugs and land twist into what would seem like a hell to most mortals.
"A god a death? Or something similar?" He questioned aloud, his mind still trying to grasp just what just what his power was. While it was true that the ooze was killing its initial targets it seemed to create shortly after, even if they were twisted into something sinister. "You said corrupting it? Into what?" he half questioned half demanded, his eyes showing his distaste for the appearance but not the horror that the mortals around them did.
The strange corpses that rose around him did little to change the stern expression on his face, his eyes never wavering in disgust, shock or even fear as one might expect from such a scene. It was not until his final statement that a grin found its way to his face with a hint of smugness showing though as turned back to the man. "As it should, for I am Halos and I demand that you did not compare me to the mortals." he replied with a voice filled with an ever so slight amount of interest.
"Now I wonder, just what do you hope to achieve with all of this? There are much easier ways to destroy this island and its inhabitants" he asked, his thoughts on how to get him to open on his purpose here. Even if he was not one a servant of the gods it did not mean he was not a threat. No, he needed to know more about the man and his strange powers as this man could become an ally or even a threat.

Kamae said nothing as the man spoke, claiming him to be a god of death... He wasn't completely wrong he supposed. The demon smiled knowingly while the other demanded to know what he would corrupt the universe into. That was the real question wasn't it, what was Kamae going to do now that he was free within a new gem of the realms. Slowly pulling his hands from his pockets, the magician would let his primordial magic drip from his hands.
The ancient magic acting like an acid or the equivalent of a dissolvent to anything it touched save Kamae. The Primordial magic arcing across his front before linking like a blanket before him. The demon said nothing as the entity observed halos more.
"You are... a god? I see... Perhaps you are this universes version of me? No... unlikely."
Kamae stated, eyes lowering to the ground as the black tar began to pool around him, his feet on a tiny island as the black substance began to dissolve all things about him. The cars shuttering and clanking as they were consumed by the blackness. Bodies disappearing quickly into the emptiness of the primordial magic and disappearing forever.
"I don't know you Halos, nor do you know me. We consider ourselves divinity, and seem to share a common enemy by a few spare words between us."
Kamae would play with the tar as it finally stopped spreading, leaving a several foot wide pool around him. The pool forming a perfect circle while he kept his gaze to the ground.
"You misunderstand my intentions. I did not slay this people because I was bored, I slaughtered them to see how my magic effects them. I wished for test subjects, and frankly the fact you have met me has me... concerned. While you seem like a potential ally, I must ask..."
Kamae would lower his hands, the black tar like substance dropping into the puddle before several heads could be seen poking their way out of the pool. Soon Primordial magic covered Kamae's began to rise up from the goop and forming clothing from the primordial magic, the dull eyed dolls then began to march in different directions. Each going out of their way to travel in a completely opposite direction of the others.
"As for what I will corrupt it into... I will turn it into a place where people are not play things. Were the gods are not simply voyeurs who seek to watch us struggle in our lives only to be destroyed should we resist their laws. I will create a universe free of their systems, free of their judgements and lies."
Kamae's words were hissed as he said lies, his eyes narrowing only for his arms to come back to his pockets. The Primordial magic having done its job quickly retreated back into Kamae's shoes, as if they belonged within the black of his dress shoes.
"Reincarnation, The line between good and evil, a rewarding after life or a cruel one... I will break this guide lines and create a realm where all are equal. No one will get a helping hand, only the strongest will survive and when I see how strong they eventually become... I will reward them for their efforts and start again. A land where you get one chance at life, survive or die... Sink or swim."
Kamae's eyes widened his mind watching as his minions scouted a head. Though they were mindless, kamae could see it all. A fractured view that he could simply look at to tell what is happening. What they saw, he knew.
"But... I can be... compromising. What is it you want Halos? To stop me? To destroy the shinjin? Perhaps both? Perhaps you wish to slaughter me, and return to your daily tasks... But I ask you what better way to gain strength than by allies? Why not join forces with me Halos, be my ally and I promise you I will show you magic that you never thought could exist. Atomic manipulation, energy siphoning and unlimited power for cities. I know many secrets, if you would but make a deal with me Halos..."
Kamae's face turned to a smirk as he waited for Halos to think it over. Giving the large titan of a man time to think it all over while Kamae would adjust his tie before holding out his hand like a business man, a deal was ready to be made. His hand offered no magical enchantments, no ki constructs or traps of science. It was a simple hand offered in cooperation. A deal to work together, to work as a team and NOT slaughter each other till all other threats were extinguished.
"Come on big fella, lets make a deal. Construct a deal with me and I promise this visitor will show you mysteries you thought were fantasy."
With that the demon's yellow eyes flashed brightly as he finished speaking, that cocky smirk on his face still present, like a sales man who knew what he was selling. He had confidence in his claims, and if he had any doubts, he didn't show them.

A threat, definitely a threat he thought as the man kept testing his power in front of him. The creature in front of him could very easily stab him in the back or even usurp his desires to reign over all life in the galaxy. There was no doubt in his mind that Kamae thought the survival of the fittest mentality only included the mortals of the galaxy, even the gods and his siblings would have to prove themselves to this creature or die like the rest. That was unacceptable, him and his kin were not to be tested by this creature or even the Shinjin themselves. Sparks of power started to cross over his body form his shoulders to his chest as he prepared himself to battle, his posture taking a more aggressive form as he moved closer to him. With his hands balling into fists, he started to move closer to strike when a stray thought crossed his mind.
It echoed though his veins as the feeble thought slowly gained strength in his mind, a single simple thought. Was his kin and blood line not the strongest? What was there to fear at accepting this Kamae's offer? Each moment his conviction only grew, his blood would rise and take their rightful place as leaders of all. This creature would serve him, killing all those that were unworthy and allowing only the worthy to live in Halos's realm. If there were not the strongest well then, they deserved to die like the rest of the feeble gods.
Coming to halt he weighed the new thought over, the magical energy dying around him as he took a less aggressive stance as his eyes looked down at the ground in thought. His posture becoming more passive as he stopped just close enough to take Kamae's hand.
"The Shinjin dead, no compromise. I want each and every one of them hunted down like they deserve, until their legacy to be forgotten by every mortal creature of this universe." He said in a tone that left no room to negotiation, his eyes glowing brightly with his conviction. His head tilting to the side as he looked at him, a small grin slowly working its way onto his lips.
"You however, might have a point. Survival of the fittest, was it? Unbiased, devoid of any emotion, moral or mortal philosophies to determine if one is worthy to live? Then even the gods would be subject to such a universe, yes?" he asked not really expecting an answer as he moved his hand up to take hold of the outstretched hand only to stop short be a few mere inches.
"We work to destroy the ShinJin, build our strength and destroy all who might challenge us. And only if after all that our goals still conflict with each other's at that point in time..." he trailed of a moment before shrugging slightly as his small smile shifted into a noticeable grin.
"Well then we can deal with it the same way as the mortals will have too. A battle to see who is fit to rule or serve the other. he offered as he leftit unsaid that the other might kill the loser if they thought the other was inadequate to what the winner desired, however he doubted he needed to. Neither one was naive enough to think it might not come down to one of them killing the other at the end.
With that he shook his hand in front of his, letting Kamae decide if he wanted to accept his demands. "If these terms are acceptable then you have my..." He trailed off for a moment before finishing "Oath that I shall work with you regardless of the methods you use so long as there is a universe left to rule when we are done. So do we have an accord, Kamae?"

Kamae listened to the giant man speak, talking of how the shinjin absolutely must die and the Kamae could only smile in response. He did not disagree, he despised them after encountering... ugh he really had to stop trying to remember things that happened eons ago. Regardless, Shinjin have always infuriated him, so to see someone with similar hatred was refreshing. Like being parched for a drink and finally getting a little reprieve. Shared hatred forged strong bonds.
"Indeed, They will be hunted to extinction, their stain wiped from creation. We will undo all their magics, and rewrite the very laws of creation together."
Though as the god took his hand, Kamae chuckled a deep cold chuckle. It would seem this universe was not as dry of evil as the last one... but it was yet to be seen if Halos had to the will to grow strong or if he would be forgotten in Kamae's legacy. An eternally ancient demon and a titan with a grudge engraved into his very genes. A death loving Eldritch and a power hungry god. What could go wrong with this two teaming up. Alrighty kamae was thinking of a strategy, a plan and he needed information.
"Might I trouble you for a moment Halos. I am aware you are rather large and probably stick out like a sore thumb... But have you considered pretending to be an alien so that you might evade the eyes of the shinjin?"
Kamae asked, before chuckling and gesturing to the west where south city's lights could be seen. Kamae's drones were already dead bolt sprinting there now.
"You see Halos I've learned a few tricks in the trade while wondering about the place. You see, this universe has a deep and wide variety of species, each looking different from one another... Perhaps you would like a disguise? One to keep you out of the prying eyes of the upper realms?"
Kamae asked looking about, trying to consider where his new lab would be. Now that he was getting use to set up shop on earth, he could probably find an amazing little place to hide himself away... but if someone blows up the planet his base is gone... Thinking it over, Kamae always did hide in the shadows when it came to his bases... His thoughts went back to Yggdrasil and how at home Kamae had been. He would recreate that.
"How about a small league of fiends who work together Halos. The golden rule, no backstabbing each other. If one betrays the others, we kill them. We construct a council who can work together to put down the gods... WE are fighting heaven itself, they will have warriors in heaven to guard them. Warriors on earth who will deny us our birth right."
Kamae then returned his gaze to Halos before chuckling. He hoped the big man didn't mind aid from outside sources.
"While I know we are above mortal plans and their devices... I have done this before, I have lost to their tenacity before. Do not underestimate the light in the heart of mortals Halos. They will not bow easily, and they do not break easily... This will be a trial unlike anything you have ever experienced. As a visitor to this realm, and having had the chance to do this before... I recommend a disguise, a fake name and befriendly..."
Kamae stated as he pulled his hand back and held his arms out, his smile returning full on.
"Come now, even Gods can enjoy the simple pleasures mortals enjoy. So why not live amongst them a while and try it out. I'll make it for freeeeee."
Kamae stated the last bit with a bit of comedic stress in his voice, clearly trying to butter the titan up and get him to consider other ways of fighting the enemy.
"Remember mister Titan, War is not won with brute might alone. Unless... you think you can best the whole universe on your own as you are."
Kamae asked, mockingly of course as he knew even in his previously powered up form in his universe, he had lost almost every battle he was ever in. The heroes of the old realm were tenacious and many... Probably just as many here if he had to guess. It was suicide to fight an army of highly powered heroes while weakened. He only hoped Halos thought the same.

Halo's eyes narrow as the eldritch creature took his hand confirming the deal, as the magic of the oath started to effect Halos. A dull magical power shifted inside the titan as small runes no larger than quarter started to appear across his neck, each one tightening around his neck until they seemed to form a noose around the titan, their glowing turning bright red for a moment before they vanished from sight. To anyone other than Kamae it looked like his neck had nothing on it, the magic concealing it form everyone sight, but the one Halo's had sworn to.
Letting the magic sink and do its work Halos was quiet for a moment as listened Kamae suggestion about a disguise, a suggestion that not without merit even if it rubbed him the wrong way. However, a more practical side of him knew in a battle of the gods and the heavens that he would need every advantage they could get. They Shinjin had eons to build up their strength, to find hero's and warriors to fight for them. He had already underestimated a mortal and had been humiliated once. It would not happen again.
"A disguise might be prudent; I have already encountered mortals that are formable warriors themselves" he replied but did not elaborate at his loss. "I won't suffer to be disguised as just anyone though, however I am sure you would have a suitable one in mind for me?" the giant inquired, his thoughts curious at just what Kamae might have in mind.
Yes this was starting to sound better and better with each moment he thought about it. It really brought to his attention just how much experience Kamae had over him in dealing with such affairs. He would need to build up his own knowledge if he did not want to seem like a weak link, and a disguise was the perfect way to do it.
"I can see now there is much I do not know; we will have to fix this." He said finally allowing himself to relax somewhat around Kamae. He was trapped in his own mind as he thought on that task at him hand. "This disguise will help but I must know something about the opponents we are facing. How strong where they? And if you...no we faced the strongest right now, what would our chances be?" He asked finally, a small bit of hesitation in his voice as he did so.
It was not that he was afraid of their strength, no it was that he was scared that he was weak. A powerless god was worthless, even more so than the Shinjin that had defeated his father. He wanted to remain blissfully ignorant about his weakness, he really did want to ignore it and just rule the shell. There he was a god with no equals, no one to challenge him and not even his sons could harm him. However he knew it was just a dream, and to ignore the problem was to court death later rather than sooner.

Kamae listened to the titan speak, of his defeat at the hands of a mortal. While Kamae was one to usually poke fun at others weakness, his first trip out into the universe was the same. He went out and straight away got scarred for life on his soul by a sword of pure light. The demon gently touched his chest, the pulsing ache of his old scar from the sword of light causing him a moment of discomfort at the thought. A scar that would never fully heal it seemed.
Kamae was not oblivious to the ring around Halos' neck and the noose it formed. While he didn't have much knowledge about this man's kind of magic, but gently touching his own neck. He felt no magic bindings, no lingering traces of essence. He was free of any markings as far as his internal scan went. So then it was a one way effect? Strange and a shame. Had he known about it before hand he might have pretended to try to mimic it so the giant might of thought he was also effected... Yet he doubted the titan was dumb enough to not know how his own magic worked. He was clearly taking his advice.
Placing his hand to his chin, the demon beginning to pace with a thoughtful expression on his features. Thousands upon thousands upon thousands of kings he knew of, but only a couple of hundred had Kamae ever MET and considering the titan's goal... Yes... A sly smile formed on the demons mouth before chuckling and then full on laughing.
"Oh yes I have a wonderous disguise. It will be... shortened for obvious reasons. You are a giant my friend, and you must be shortened to our size, to go where you please without drawing attention... say by breaking front doors or kicking someone who isn't looking."
With that kamae laughed at the idea of the giant punting a poor little old woman as she came out of the store. An inside joke but one he found amusing none the less. But when the titan asked how they would fair in combat against the enemy with the current strength, together. Kamae couldn't exactly gauge an opponents strength at this very moment. But the demon knew a fresh bodied Kamae and a titan Kamae felt confident in fighting as a newborn versus what he saw in the south.
"We would be slaughtered like helpless infants... We would not even know we were dead before our bodies were growing cold. At least... My heroes and shinjin were that powerful. Legendary strength, and I attained it... so if they are as strong as I WAS before my "rebirth" into this realm... Then yes, we stand absolutely zero chance of winning."
Kamae was blunt, quick with his answer and brutally honest. Kamae was pathetically weak at the moment, he couldn't muster even one tenth of his original power. It was disgraceful but he had willingly subjected himself to this. Like a hornet injected into a spider so it might hatch into a deadly killer, Kamae was going to grow into a very very deadly beast... he might even surpass his old form... A shiver of pleasure runs up his spine at the idea.
"But hope is not lost. We have the element of surprise. Keep your head down, avoid contact unless necessary. Use fake names and simply be friendly. Be nice, play by their rules. If one of them thinks you are not a team player, just fake it till ya make it... Or kill them or die... or ignore them. I dunno, I am not you. Do as you please partner..."
Kamae stated the last bit with a hint of stress to it, to make sure the titan realized they were not serving each other, they were working togerher. A mututal deal.
"I will not order you, I can only give you advice. I recommend earning their trust, who's trust? Who's ever protects this world of course! Find some trouble, cause some mischief to stir them up and then introduce yourself. Be their friend. I recommend vegeta for you, they like all that pride and strength. They also are really good at killing stuff~."
Kamae was trying to hint to Halos he should go to vegeta, or find a way to go there. While Kamae wasn't an expert on Halos' personality, he was a very straight faced and quiet. The saiyans would do nicely for him. They would seek him out to test his strength and in return he might do the same. So turning an ever feeding fire and setting him loose in that direction let Kamae direct his more.... subtle and delicate proceedings on earth where everyone was very gentle. A gentle hand for a gentle touch.
"When we meet again, I will know of a way for us to communicate. My body is a freshly, my abilities are still manifesting. You know... Halos... I am extremely weakened at the moment."
Kamae would hold out his hands, an open gesture for being attacked. No defenses were prepared and his muscles relaxed. The man was ready to die in this very moment.
"I might grow to be a very huge threat someday...One that could devour this universe if I wanted. I might grow beyond your control... Betray you, stab you in the back... Might be wise to simply kill me now Halos. Imagine all the slaughtering I'll do... I am an expert at genetics... Might end up turning all the worlds into hell holes of agony and despair. Destroy the ecosystems and what not. You sure you can tolerate my presence long enough for this butterfly to grow its wings... and stinger?"
Kamae was deliberately testing Halos at the moment, the ring on his neck would confirm if that was a binding magic or something else... but also, to see if Halos would have lingering regrets. Kamae was technically just a newborn demon, freshly spit out from the void to cause pain and suffering. Halos could potentially kill him if he wanted and the demon would no longer pose a threat to anyone. Would the giant take the clear and very blatant bait? He wasn't being subtle, because being subtle was for later. Now was the fun bits.

He should had felt anger, despair, fear or even disbelief at Kamae's words. Instead, he felt relief, a weightlifting form him at the news that he was in fact weak. He had been avoiding the truth for so long that now that it was said out loud, he was simply glad that he no longer had to tip toe around the truth anymore, for the first time in months his mind could focus on what needed to be done, to find a cure to the disease called weakness that had infected him..
He showed no outward sign of his thoughts besides a slow deep release of breath that he had no idea he had been holding and a long silence as he listened to Kamae's words. Tilting his head down, he slowly nodded before speaking. " I doubt I would be much use to anyone trying to recruit anyone to our... divine cause, at least not yet. I think I'll leave that to you for now." The pause in his sentence showing his distaste for calling themselves a league of evil, even if that is what the others would call them. In truth the victor was the one who decided who was evil or good, and he intended to victor one way or another.
"I think for now it would be best for me to build my power, to be ready when the time is right for a more personal touch." His eyes going out of focus for a moment before he finished. "Gods without power are worthless, no better than the Shinjin themselves" He added before turning back to Kamae his eyes focusing on him for a moment.
It was too late to back out of their agreement, but he again wondered if he really should trust the man in front of him. It had been foolish of him to swear an oath like that, however it he felt that it had been right choice. As foolish as it sounded, he knew at the very least when this was all done that, he would at the very least get revenge on the gods that had slain his father. For now, he simply needed to make sure he was stronger than Kamae, strong enough that if it ever came to the two fighting he would win, it really was as simple as that.
He would need to change things back in the shell, it was perhaps time to join his sons in training or at the very least pretext of training them. The gears in his head were just starting to grind away at ways to improve himself when Kamaes words pulled him back to him, the not-so-subtle threat echoing in his head as a raged filled snarl covered his face.
Stepping forward Halos let his power rise as bolts of electricity started to arc form his shoulders down to his hips wildly, his power pouring out to anyone who might be able to step forward. It a mere few steps the massive man was towering over Kamae, silently the man stared the man in front of him in silence as he watched the man closely.
Choosing his next words carefully he replied to the question, the magic in his voice making it echo across the small island. "Then I can rest knowing that those bastards are dead like they deserve." The magic leaving his voice so that the next part could not be overheard, as he finished.
"I would rather this all burn then to let them roam free, to let this farce of a universe continue as it is. If I am too weak to claim the right to rule, then I deserve death. A small moment passing as he let Kamae digest his words. "If I fail then one of my siblings will simply succeed where I failed, the titan's blood will rule this universe one way or another."
And much like a storm his anger passed, a genuine smile coming to his face and even a small bit of laughter escaped his lips. Filled with mirth as answered a question Kamae had not asked out loud. "I am sure someone as old as you guessed what happened when I swore the oath. It is as you think, the magic binds me but I will leave it you to figure out just how closely it binds me to my oath." A chuckle escaping him as he stepped away form Kamae, at least far enough to not appear as a threat anymore.
Turning away he stared into the sky for a moment before turning towards his home. " I will head back for the time being, there is much more to discuss between us, however this might not be the best place. I am sure the mortals will have someone come to check on the chaos happening around here. he said as he slowly lifted off the ground, his toes just barely touching the dirt beneath him as he continued. "It will be good to not be seen with each other just yet."
"If there is nothing else, I will leave and await you in south city during oh.... what is it called above ground? A full moon? Hopefully we will have a way to contact each other before long, if only to draw less attention." He replied with finality, his tone making it clear that he was done with their conversation for the moment as he drifted off into the sky and towards his home below ground.
